Project Management

Currently, the figure of Project Manger is very important in the building process, because it links the different skills involved, thus providing observance of costs and time of realization.
In the last years, some important figures like the geologist, the designer of thermal systems and electric systems, the expert on acoustics, the expert on job security and the energy consultant and certificator have collaborated with the architectural and structural planner. Their work is closely related, therefore a supervisor is required to control them and to ensure that their requirements join in the final product (the project); it enables the customer to present a paper to the enterprises he will consult (or to himself if it is an enterprise); this paper will ensure the certainty of costs and time of realization.
At the end of the productive process of the building, this will ensure the necessary planning permissions without any problems.
However, the Project Manager does not work only with the planners: he helps the Customer to choose the enterprise, he works in the building site, organising the productive aspect and coordinating the different workers and controlling the right realization of the project.
Therefore the Project Manager can be defined as the figure who provides the “turn key projects” to the Customer, who should not worry about anything and should only fund the work.
